Project Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well respected and well established main contractor based in the South Wales area. They carry out a wide range of projects across the residential and commercial sectors up to a value of £15 million typically.

Due to ongoing growth they have approached us with the requirement to recruit a quantity surveyor to join their commercial team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your roles and responsibilities may include the control of variations, co-ordinating information, valuations, cost control and quarterly reports of progress both in terms of build stages and finances.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with main contracting and/or housebuilding experience who is able to coordinate the commercial aspects of projects with minimal guidance. Note that although based in Cardiff, the company work along the M4 corridor and you may need to travel to projects 1-2 days per week, and depending on location this may involve overnight stay.
