IT Software Sales Associate – Consultant

We currently have a requirement for a ‘Software Sales Consultant’ for an established and growing technology business in Benfleet, Essex.

They have been established since 2002 and have clients such as ‘Camelot’, ‘Sainsbury’s’ and other large organisations.

They have developed a ground breaking system that will be going live across their UK customer base and are looking to bring on and train a person to further develop the client base.

The role will have a basic of £25k-£32k + a good commission with opportunity to then move through the ranks to a sales manager position, if this is what you desire.
Full training will be given on the product although we are looking for someone that has established experience within software sales and very IT literate.

Role & responsibilities to include but not exclusive to:

• Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client
• Determining a client’s business requirements and whether the products being
considered are suitable
• Deciding whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client’s
needs
• Answering any technical questions the client might have
• Presenting your findings to our technical team to act on, and then to the client
• Attend network meetings, some could be out of hours.

In most cases, you will work in the office although you can also work from home. The area covered could be anywhere in the UK and you could, on rare occasions, be asked to travel abroad to meet clients. All travel expenses will be reimbursed at cost.

Must have:

• Driving licence (transport will be arranged)
• IT software sales experience

Package:

• 28 days holiday leave will be allowed. Our office hours are 9am to 5.00pm,
Monday to Friday. However, you may be required to work longer hours at busy
times.
• £25k + commission
