RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

SALARY AND BENEFITS: £31,200 + Fuel allowance + Benefits

– This is a new position created to be key to establish a strong recruitment specialist division running across a number of sites and enabling the company to fully acknowledge their high performing staff and new talent, attract the very best candidates and plan strong training and development for individuals within the business. This role is key to developing a ‘first class’ recruitment system, working closely with HR and Managers across the business.

– Demonstrable experience within the recruitment process and practices
– Degree level or equivalent graduate calibre
– Self motivation, confidence to work as a team and on your own.
– Very organised, tidy and capable of multi-tasking
– Someone who can work in a fast paced and ever changing working environment – where no two days are the same.
– Confident working at all levels and interacting from time to time with Board level members.
– Experience of computer systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
– Excellent communication skills – (an excellent listener)
– Prepared to challenge the norm and stand your corner if needed
– Excellent organisational skills
– Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and sometimes pressurised environment.
– Capable of working effectively in a busy and sometimes hefty work-load.

ROLE INFORMATION:

– To work closely with HR and Managers on a number of sites to deliver an end to end on boarding process and to create resourcing plans, develop the recruitment strategy and implement the action plans. This is a key role working across a number of sites.
– This role is responsible for the recruitment process of management roles from start to finish across a number of sites. The role entails creating resourcing plans, developing recruitment strategy, delivering end to end on boarding process, drive talent acquisition and make sure that the systems are up-to-date and accurate.
– Organise the lead on running recruitment open days on site and at external job fayres, building relationships and networking with colleges and external bodies.
– Take full responsibility for the recruitment service offered by the organisation and interact and work closely with key personnel from HR and management to advise, train and deliver on dead-lines and support HR teams in the use of the in-house recruitment system.
– Coach hiring managers and HR teams on interviewing and candidates assessment techniques to driving business effectiveness.
– Ensure a consistent process of management of applicants and processing of candidate information.
