Business Development Manager

Salary: £38,400 – £44,400 per year

We are delighted to be supporting our client, a successful manufacturing business, with their search for a Business Development Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established market leader and play a key part in future growth. The Business Development Manager will have responsibility for identifying, targeting and developing new accounts across the UK and Ireland, while also managing and building existing customer relationships.
The successful candidate will have experience in consultative sales within a manufacturing business, knowledge of the lighting sector (safety/emergency), an excellent track record of growing profitable sales and a good understanding of profit management and forecasting.
The Business Development Manager will be an expert in their field responsible for advising management and colleagues of developments and general changes in the market and of actions that could be taken by the company to develop market share.
