Project Manager, Park Regeneration

Contract Term: Interim, 7 months in duration
Salary: £360 – £420per day Ltd Company
Hours: Full time, 5 days per week
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Greenacre Recruitment is working in partnership with a locally based Housing Provider to source an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of historic parkland restoration. The role is full time and expected to last a minimum of 7 months.

Our client has an immediate need for a fixed term Project Manager to see the project through to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience of multi-million pound construction projects in a heritage environment, be able to manage a small team and relationships with a range of stakeholders including Councillors, funders and contractors and ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Key duties include:
* Managing the delivery of historic parkland restoration.
* Managing project budgets and resources including the work of a small team.
* Co-ordinating the delivery of works and professional services.
* Communicating with stakeholders and participating organisations.
* Monitoring and reporting progress on risk, project timetable, stages and milestones.

You will have previously managed arrangements for the preparation, publication and circulation of all consultation papers, meetings and events, including liaison with the media, outside organisations and the public. You will co-ordinate the decision making process including reports to Project Board, Executive, Area Committees and Portfolio Holder. The role will also require you to liaise with the Heritage Lottery Fund to ensure their requirements are met throughout the project
