Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

I am currently supporting one of my large scale fabric and textile companies with their search for a new Quality Control Manager.

The company are based in the Shipley area of Bradford, and are market leading when it comes to manufacturing furnishings.

This role is critical to the business, and so they are looking for a candidate that has the desire to teach and influence other employees within the business about the quality control procedures required to stay in line with industry regulations and guidelines.

You will also report directly into the MD of the business, so it is important you have clear and concise communication skills both verbal and written.

The role will involve but will not be limited to:

  • Heading up a team of 4 employees, who will report into you, including a product technologist, a QA co-ordinator & 2 QC inspectors.
  • Taking the responsibility for developing the business and ensuring it remains an outstanding supplier
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to establish, implement and control a broad range of procedures effecting quality management across the business
  • Using compliance data and its processing it to identify areas orf risk, which will then influence board decisions that affect compliance moving forward
  • Lead BRCGS company compliance and implement recommendations and corrective actions
  • Generating business cases, budget proposals and product internal guidance documentation for customers and other departments within the business.
  • Conducting and leading internal quality audits across all departments within the business

In return my client is offering a starting salary between £48,000 – £60,000depending upon experience, along with employee discounts on products, free on site car parking, free refreshments, competitive salary and personal growth.

The working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm & 3.15pm finish on a Friday.
