Systems Analyst – Block Management – London

This is an exciting new opportunity to work with an independent and progressive block management company in a busy and varied Systems Analyst role. They are seeking candidates who have worked in a managing agents/block management business in an administration position and that have strong knowledge of the Qube property management software.

Role:
The primary role of the System Analyst is the responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the company’s Qube database. This includes developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Qube database and associated functions.

General:
1.Member of the project team for major technology projects
2.Appraise and present information on potential new systems
3.Design, test and implement new systems across the company

Qube
1.Maintain the health and integrity of the Qube database
2.Design, test and setup routine tasks to ensure database integrity
3.Install Qube software updates and patches
4.Design custom reports using Qube report wizard
5.Assist all departments to improve existing and identify new Qube processes
6.Staff training for Qube and other related systems
7.Design and implement.bat file routines and Scheduled Tasks

Excel
1. Data analysis using Pivot Table tool
2. Design, test and implement complex macro’s
3. Assist in design and preparation of monthly reports

Required skills
1. Advanced Excel (Must be able to use Pivot tables etc)
2. Excellent communication & presentation
3. Problem solving
4. Initiative & pro-active approach
5. Excellent time management

Desirable skills
1. Qube experience
2. Programming experience

Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with one hour for lunch
Location: London SE1
Salary: Circa £30,000 – £33,600 (Depending on Experience & Qualification to Discretionary Bonus Scheme)

PLEASE NOTE: This is an experienced position so you MUST have previous property administration/management experience and understand or have worked within the freehold/leasehold environment to be suited for this role. Candidates with good experience on Qube are at a distinct advantage for this role.
