Principal Mechanical Engineer

My client is a world leading, innovative low carbon power company based in South of London. They are currently looking to expand their team and continue growth by recruiting a Principal Mechanical Engineer.

The successful Mechanical Engineer will have a strong and thorough understanding in the principles of mechanical engineering, along with knowledge in volume manufacturing. Be responsible for the delivery of mechanical design solutions of the project, leading design reviews and providing guidance. Communication with suppliers, engineers and customers will be needed to be successful within this role.

A degree in mechanical engineering or higher qualification equivalent with 5-10 years exposure working on mechanical systems. Proficient in CAD, preferably Creo2 would be advantageous along with computer aided engineering. Renewable Energy background would hold a distinct advantage. Solid knowledge of (GD&T), ability to communicate effectively and enthusiastic to learn new advanced technology.

Location is commutable from Worthing, Brighton, Horsham, Crawley, Guildford and Epsom. On offer for the Principal Mechanical Engineer is up to £60,000 dependent on experience.
