Senior Copywriter

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Copywriter. The successful applicant will be responsible for increasing awareness of our brand, product and services offering by embodied the company brand and strategy in every bit of copy we produce.

You are required to assist the Marketing Manager and team with the production of accurate, informative and trend-focused copy for direct mail, adverts, editorial, infographic and press releases created in the brand style and tone of voice. Work as part of the Marketing team to deliver all work items to agreed timescales as directed.

Candidates must be prepared to work extra hours when workload and priorities dictate.

The successful candidate for the role will have the following duties and responsibilities:
• Pro-actively maintain our marketing presence
• Copy writing – press and magazine articles and editor comments
• Create and release Email bulletins, newsletters and campaigns
• Pro-actively assist with the planning of content as required
• PR – draft and release appropriate press releases and case studies to provide clear, persuasive and original content
• Research – conduct research as and when required
• Proofreading
• Amend, revise and redevelop adverts

The successful candidate for the role of Senior Copywriter must have the following skills and experience:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of producing copy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent grammar and literacy
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Self-starter with lots of initiative and drive to succeed. Ability to manage your own workload and identify ways to improve

Salary: Up to £30,000depending on experience plus excellent benefits
