Salary: £379.2 – £433.2 per day

My client, a leading and established social care organisation based in Manchester is looking for an accomplished Data Analyst to join the team at an exciting time as, despite the current climate, it’s business as usual for this organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst who has previous experience of working on large-scale Data migrations from multiple legacy systems into new target systems.

A Lancashire based social care client of mine seek an experienced Data Migration Analyst (min. 5 years’ experience) to join the Data function at an exciting time as the business undertake a multi-million pound Data Migration programme. The ideal candidate will have worked extensively on Data Migrations in the past, and be an expert with both SQL and manipulating Excel based spreadsheets/data. Experience with PowerBI/ creating dashboards is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
– Extensive experience of Business Intelligence, and reporting.
– Previous experience working with cloud-based devops solutions – Azure/AWS (preferred)
– Experience with SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI and Business Objects (preferred)
– Working as a key member of the Data team that will migrate large datasets from a multitude of legacy systems into one unified solution.
– Working closely with the head of department to ensure exemplary data management practices.
– Ensuring sound data integrity and cleansing is performed as required.
– Expert requirements gathering, analysis and implementation.
– Making suggestions based on successful past experience and working with non-technical figures across the business where necessary on Data Migration process and best practice.

Key Requirements:

– 5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst (essential)
– Expert knowledge of SQL (essential)
– Expert knowledge of MS Excel data manipulation (essential)
– Sociable in nature, and good interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and work closely with senior business leaders (essential)
– Previous experience working in corporate environment that is highly regulated (essential)
– Experience working in AGILE methodology (preferred)
Experience of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and working with change requests and producing new system specifications where necessary (preferred)
