Data Analyst – Redditch – 10 Month FTC

A data analyst is required to join on a 10 month fixed term contract. £22.500 per annum.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new venture between two major market leaders within the energy sector.

Supporting the Network and Operations Manager the holder will perform a key role maintaining and driving volume through the Network of 232 sites by implementation of the company business plan, pricing guidelines and marketing strategy.

Job Purpose:
To assemble competitor pricing data from multiple streams to ensure an update picture of UK pricing market
To perform daily pricing analysis and make recommendations to the pricing team in reference to company pricing guidelines and impact on volumes, to ensure budgeted margins are delivered.
Complete the weekly volume report, distribute to stakeholders and analyse to flag underperforming sites.
To liaise with sites and distribution depots to maximise delivery schedule efficiency and prevent run outs.
Complete a monthly stock reconciliation and make recommendations to stock management team on investigations.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Must have the ability to design spread sheets with Macros and Vlookups
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent analytical skills with an ability to interpret statistics and data.
Experience of working with people, good telephone and excellent written and communication skills
Have reasonable knowledge of UK geography
Be a good team player
Must have the drive and enthusiasm to participate in short to medium term projects.
The job holder must be able to work on their own initiative.
Have the willingness to work flexible hours on occasion
A full Driving License is essential
