A market leading high end Gelateria group that is in the process of massive expansion plans is currently looking for an exceptional individual to join them as the General Manager of their first site in Middlesbrough

The venue will be an all-day dining operation that serves modern authentic Italian Gelato with an array of great sundaes, milkshakes, waffles and great coffee in a vibrant and dynamic environment.

Reporting into the groups operations manager you would be fully responsible for all aspects of the business. Pre-opening you will recruit and then train your team of front of house staff.

Once open you will be responsible for ensuring that an efficient, slick and friendly service experience is consistently delivered in what will be a non-stop high volume environment. You will be clearly identifiable as the General Manager when on the floor offering support when needed.

Working alongside the groups operations manager you will also ensure that the business is run efficiently in regard to standing operating and back of house procedures.

As the General Manager you will also be responsible for delivering pre agreed financial targets through the application of sound business acumen and an effective sales and marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will be a proven General Manager from a high volume quality restaurant background and have experience of being fully autonomously accountable for a business.
