Lead Operations Technician

Salary: £33,600 per year

Are you an experienced and skilled Operations Technician? Would you like to lead and act as a leader for customer’s technical support?

Our client is looking for a brilliant Lead Operations Technician to join their team in Hampshire, they are a leading business within the Telecoms sector. Join our team and expand your development for a market leading establishment.

As a Lead Operations Technician your main responsibilities will include:

* Deliver agreed SLA & Scope for key customers with clear and consistent documentation.

* Act as a technical lead and point of escalation for less experienced members of the operations function.

* Add value to the wider BAU function and ETOPS customer base.

* Ensure a customer focused experience is delivered consistently.

* Actively support the development, training and nurturing of junior team members.

* Effectively manage workload and clearly communicate with peers.

There is plenty of on the job training however they expect you to have core experience with the following:

* Expert knowledge and experience with IP Networking (CISCO, Juniper, Nokia/Alcatel)

* Experience working with Data/IP Networks in an operational manner

* Knowledge of 2nd or 3rd line diagnostics

* Strong experience with; LAN, WAN, DSL, Broadband, Ethernet
