Salary: £32,400 per year
Our client, a national care provider, is looking for an enthusiastic new manager for a well established 5 bed service set in a lovely rural setting between Ashford and Folkestone. Working for a line manager with 30 years of care experience this is a truly fantastic opportunity for someone to join a well run, CQC compliant service who work with Helen Sanderson person centred tools. The salary for this role is £32,400 with potential for budget based bonus.
You may already be a registered manager or a deputy who is champing at the bit, ready to step up into a managerial role. You will enjoy working with adults with mild autism and have an enthusiasm for supporting individuals to get involved in all sorts of activities.
The responsibilities of a registered manager include:
– Leading and directing the operational management of the home
– Ensuring a high quality of service is delivered to all service users
– Promoting a truly person centred approach
– Participating in events and meetings
– Ensuring the development of the service
– Taking responsibility for ensuring staff supervisions and training take place
The requirements:
– Significant managerial experience within a residential setting
– Qualified to NVQ 4 level (or be on the way to qualifying)
– Experience of staff recruitment within an equal opportunity framework
