Salary: £72,000 – £78,000 per year

Hybrid working – 3 days per week on site (Runcorn)

Some adhoc travel to Northern Ireland

LHH (formerly Badenoch & Clark) is partnered with a leading FMCG Manufacturer, who have a requirement for an HR Business Partner to join them on a permanent basis.

The HR Business Partner will support senior stakeholders in building the capability of the operation to achieve and deliver short-term business performance targets against the longer-term people strategy. This is a generalist HR role, that will comprise of a mix of operational and strategic responsibilities.

The HR Business Partner will partner with 2 manufacturing sites – Runcorn and Belfast; there is expected to be reasonable travel to Northern Ireland. Applicants must be able to travel on request (likely 1-2 short occasions per month initially, becoming less frequent once established in role).

We’re seeking a candidate with proven experience within an HRBP capacity, particularly someone who is results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement. Key stakeholders would be senior managers across the business unit.

This is a generalist Human Resources role, inclusive of ER advice and case management, ‘project’ work, line management support on policy and process.

The role reports into a Senior HR Business Partner.

Minimum CIPD Level 5 is desirable.

Additional skills required include:

• Experience in a unionised environment – essential
• Sound judgement to balance risk with commercial solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to articulate to (and influence) senior stakeholders and managers on commercial risk, options and recommendations
• Ability to challenge constructively, combined with a level of resilience

Salary for this role is expected to be £72,000 – £78,000depending on experience.
