Salary: £60,000 per year

Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a successful company who are looking to appoint a Production Manager. This company have gone from strength to strength and are expanding. The role of Production Manager will be to manage this fast-moving facility and to coach and develop the team supporting the production facility.

Responsibilities of the Production Manager

• Managing the production operations capability of the site optimising profitability and minimising operation costs
• Managing a team of direct and indirect reports
• Leading the implementation of the operational strategy, developing, and monitoring KPI’s to manage performance of the production teams
• Championing and driving the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• Coaching, supporting, and developing staff and implementing relevant succession plans

Experience required for the role of Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Factory Operations Manager with experience in coaching and managing teams alongside having a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, planning, managing production performance effectively and associated figures.

We are looking for a production professional who has an engaging leadership style and who champions empowerment and drives engagement and teamwork to deliver exceptional production operational Performance. You should also have a history of identifying and managing improvements throughout the production process.
