Commercial Gas Install Engineer
Established for 40 years, Our client is a central heating installation company working for Local Authorities within their schools and housing stock. They also undertake projects on Leisure Centres, Care homes and some Commercial buildings.
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Install Engineer to work within commercial heating settings across the South East, from (Croydon to Brighton as a rough guide) Not Central London.
About the Role
As the Commercial Gas Install Engineer you will be required to carry out installations of boilers and upgrades/refurbishments / associated pipework within plant rooms in schools and commercial / residential properties.
Carrying out full commissioning of gas heating boilers and associated controls on completion of installation or servicing works.
The candidate must be proficient in the installation of commercial & domestic water systems, LTHW systems, Underfloor Heating.
Skills & Experience
* Skilled and qualified Commercial Heating Install engineer.
* Minimum 5 years experience
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic
Qualifications
Current/valid Commercial Gas Qualifications – e.g COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1 TPCP1A or NVQ or equivalent qualifications. Additional Domestic Gas qualifications also desirable.
Hours
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (often finishing early).
Salary: £56,400per year plus overtime

* On call / standby is 1 in 4 (very few call outs) £120 p/week plus overtime at enhanced rates.
