Mobile Commercial Combustion Engineer

My client is a large main contractor within the Facilities sector and is looking for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join their organisation. You will be covering a wide variety of tasks of commercial boilers as well as carrying out both PPM’s and reactive work on a variety of building services equipment and plant. You will have need to be able to service/ maintain and take care of small installations, including setting up burners, gas analysis and ancillary plant and be flexible in supporting members of the maintenance team.

You will be an experienced commercial gas engineer / heating engineer with electrical 17th edition wiring, completing PPM and reactive maintenance, servicing and fault finding and boiler/controls to our Clients premises. The plant room will cover both Commercial and domestic boilers.

Responsibilities
*Provide heating and gas engineering support to large scale commercial and large scale residential facilities.
*Complete PPM and reactive maintenance to: boilers, burners, pumps and valves, gas feeds, hot water systems, water flow and return, venting, BMS and heating controllers, wet plumbing including radiators, pipework, tanks and cylinders flow and return etc…plus some HVAC plant and general building services maintenance.
*Complete boiler wiring and electrical / electrician duties
*Complete service and fault finding on occupied sites
*Complete major boiler re-wire and modernisation with BMS and heating control systems
*Identify spares and assist in providing quotations to the client for remedial repairs and small works.
*You will be responsible for managing your work load as well as submitting your completed work sheets.

Requirements
*Full clean driving licence
*Apprentice trained engineer with full and current qualificatons enabling you to work commercial combustion systems and associated plant. – Qualified Heating/Combustion Engineer with Commercial ACS
*Domestic ACS
*Electrical knowledge with 17th edition
*Experience of Building Services (HVAC industry)
*Willingness to travel and operate on helpdesk controlled contracts
*Core COCN1 Commercial (70kw +)
*Core CCN1 up to 70kw (domestic) with Commercial Changeover (CODNC01) for over 70kw appliances
*Appliances: CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, Pipe-work, ICPN1
*Tightness testing TPCP1A, TPCP1

Desirable –
*Oftec oil
*5 years experience within commercial gas / combustion
*HVAC experience
*Retail experience (Having worked within live sites previously)
*Mobile reactive and ppm experience ideally having experience with small project / installation works
