Commercial Laundry Equipment Engineer

Salary: £45,600 – £50,400 per year

The company is local based, family run commercial laundry company that have built up a very good reputation since they started trading. They provide top service and maintenance to all of their clients in Devon and Cornwall and have a very low staff turnover. There is no such thing as a job for life anymore, but this is as close as you are going to get in this day and age. They are also now part owned by a much larger nationwide company which gives them great support and stability for the employees but at the same time retaining their small company feel and values.

They are currently looking for another commercial laundry service engineer to join the team, you will be:-

• Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment – commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble driers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers and some dosing machines
• Working on electrical and gas fired commercial laundry equipment
• Covering Cornwall
• Working with clients such as nursing homes, offices, holiday parks, hotels etc.

Experience / skills required

• Experience within commercial laundry equipment would be beneficial but not essential
• Having commercial laundry gas certs would be great, or at least domestic or commercial certs that they can get the change over course for
• Living anywhere in Cornwall from St. Austell upwards
• Good basic electrical competency

Salary

• 33k basic, 35k basic after probation period
• Door to door travel pay, overtime, van, phone
• Call out rota for Saturday cover – 1 in 4 Saturdays 
• Overtime available.
