Technical Product Manager

Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

Are you an experienced Technical Product Manager looking for an exciting new challenge with an innovative global success?

As Technical Product Manager you will be the Technical Product Champion for all the companies’ products and services

As Technical Product Manager you will support the Head of Product & Marketing and be responsible for

• Producing and/or translating technical content into customer led output including for bids, white papers, brochures, application notes, user guides, technical service updates and input for press release etc (alongside Marketing & Communications Manager who is responsible for external messaging)
• Assisting with defining the go to market strategy, helping the head of Product & Marketing to understand th4e technical product positioning, key benefits, and target customers
• Working with the Marketing & Communications Manager
  
  • Ensure suitable and up to date marketing and sales collateral, user guides, FAQ’s etc
  • Assist with the marketing launch of new products and services incorporating marketing literature, sales presentations etc

• Working with the Head of Product & Marketing produce marketing plans and value-added services.
• Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on going visits to customers and non-customers
• Driving new products and service across the company

To be considered for the role of Technical Product Manager you will

• Have a good level of education, ideally within a technical discipline
• Have previous technical product management experience
• Have good knowledge/experience of IP Networking, Mobile Satcoms, and/or communication technology
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Have experience of managing hardware suppliers and assessing new and existing product capabilities
• Have project manager experience
• Be a flexible, customer focused and self-motivated team player
• Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Be prepared to travel for work occasionally
• Be eligible for SC Clearance
