Van Driver / Warehouse Operative

An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client based in Northampton a Van Driver/Warehouse Operative.

Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 3.30pm, candidates required to be flexible as finish times may be later.
Must be prepared to work overtime.

Driving a 3.5 ton flat bed van.

The ideal candidate must have:

Excellent communication skills

Full clean driving licence

Excellent customer service skills

Duties will include:

Delivering goods across various areas of Britain

Be willing and able if necessary to stay over in night in delivery location.
Have a good knowledge and skill of driving a 3.5 ton trucks
loading and unloading and some handballing if necessary
Ensuring orders are complete and correct
Perform checks on their vehicle
Complete paperwork accurately
Checking contact details and delivery information correctly
Ensuring vehicles are driven carefully and safely
Carrying out daily maintenance checks on the vehicle
Keep vehicles clean and tidy
loading and unloading vehicles
Performing other duties when required, including warehouse duties
