Our client is a well know global supplier/ manufacturer. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office/ 2 days from home). The main office is near Gatwick plus there would occasional visits to other sites in the south 

The role: You will be leading an HR strategy and People offering for this fast paced manufacturing site. Supporting growth whilst keeping people engagement at the heart of everything they do. Support change management process and ensuring a generalist HR support function is provided. 

Key responsibilities

• Duties: developing HR processes, develop and support manufacturing function by providing a first class HR service, Problem resolution of complex ER cases, recruitment on senior roles, liaise with all levels of stakeholders, supporting various projects, people engagement, liaising with unions, coach and develop leadership teams, create talent mapping and development solutions, act as mentor to various staff members
• Experiences: blue collar sector experience, union liaison experience

Skills & qualifications

• Experience in an HR environment and preferably working towards CIPD
• Experience of providing end to end ER/HR advice and support
• Experience of working in a unionised environment – desirable
• Ability to work in a fast faced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a supportive and positive outlook
• Able to drive
