Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year
We are seeking an experienced BEMS or BMS commissioning engineer who wants to take on a broader responsibility and also undertake software and graphics production in addition to conventional on-site Commissioning Engineer duties.
Thoroughly experienced in the commissioning of Building Management Systems projects, you will join a leading national operator in the market space, helping to deliver some high technology projects across Greater London and the South East.
The Role
- Working from BMS / BeMS control systems designs, descriptions of operations and points lists, you will compose your own software strategies and graphics engineering.
- You will take the project to sites and complete commissioning of the installations of BEMS and BMS control systems in line with customer design requirements and those outlined by the Project Manager within an agreed time-scale.
- During the onsite commissioning process, you will perform physical wiring checks and plant start-ups, undertaking full functional testing of the systems to comply with the DesOps.
- Provide technical support to other trades and sub-contractors and carry out trouble shooting to diagnose and rectify any system defects.
- You’ll also be involved with customers validation processes and execution as part of Commissioning works and Project hand-over procedures
- You’ll be supporting and maintaining a collaborative working environment with internal & external customers and stakeholders.
- Whilst creating a high-performance culture in Project Delivery Teams, this will enable the business to meet and exceed both customer needs and business objectives.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a HNC/HND in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Have extensive experience in commissioning BEMS and BMS control systems of Siemens PX range and Trend IQ4 and previous ranges of controls
- Ideally have some experience with Tridium and/or Cylon systems.
- Be a senior level engineer with experience of Siemens Desigo CC and Trend IQ Vision including full integration of M-Bus, Modbus, Bacnet protocols.
- Have excellent communication skills and report writing are essential to maintain strong relationships with all team members and customers.
- Be experienced composing your own software strategies and graphics engineering is key
- Have a professional manner and be dedicated to meeting customer expectations, whilst upholding the company values.
- Have great interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver to deadlines.
Due to the nature of this role, it’s essential you possess a full UK driving licence.
