Electronics Commissioning Engineer

Scotland (Mobile role covering Nationwide)

£38,400 per annum

Permanent position

A global Automatic Door systems company are looking for Engineers with Electronics and Electrical knowledge to join their Team based in Scotland, to ensure that the highest standards of customer service are delivered whilst representing the Company.

Duties will include:

* Servicing customer equipment, through preventative and reactive channels to the customers’ satisfaction

* Working on microprocessor-controlled equipment and using multi-meter instrumentation

* Diagnosing faults within control systems and wiring

* Maintaining accurate service data through diligent and timely use of all service documentation and technical data

* Working to high levels of quality and performance standards

Skills and experience required:

* Knowledge of basic electronics, electrical theory, principles of microprocessor-controlled equipment and multi-meter instruments

* Basic knowledge of control systems and electrical wiring are required

* It would be beneficial to have product knowledge, as well as diagnostic capabilities but product training will be provided

* Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

* A clean and current full driving licence

* As part of a wider team, from time to time you may be required to service the whole of the UK

* Must be IT / Computer literate

* Due to the nature of the role, all successful candidates will be expected to pass a DBS (Criminal Record) clearance check
