Quality Assurance and Safety Manager – Electrical

Description:
To ensure that the company satisfies all the requirements necessary to achieve and maintain the status of a recognised quality assured company. To implement, monitor and up-date as required, all the procedures and activities to continually improve the performance of the company.

Main Requirements for job role:
To be fully conversant with all the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
To understand and be conversant with the requirements of ISO 14001, IEC 22301, IEC 27001.
To be conversant with and manage CASS / Sira IEC 61508, IEC 61511 functional safety certification.
To monitor and maintain the complete quality system.
To fully understand the company’s commitments and operations.
Identify and implement operational improvements.
To be responsible for continued compliance with environmental, health & safety legislation.
To deliver internal training and new starter inductions.
Supply chain auditing and management.
Work alongside Client Hardware and Software Engineers.
Liaise with key clients in the Oil and Gas sectors.
Support of project teams with regulatory and engineering standards (including client standards) compliance.
Assure compliance with the CDM regulations where applicable.

Skills & Experience:
Electrical / electronic / control / software / project management background.
To be able to communicate with all personnel in different disciplines and management.
Background of quality engineering and quality management systems.
Working knowledge of continual improvement systems.
Have experience of internal/external auditing
Environmental Health & safety – 4 years minimum experience.

Be able to travel between UK offices
Passport to Safety Supervisor.
