Get the App Our client a specialist infrastructure provider specialising in the design construction and maintenance of energy and communications projects is looking to recruit a raw graduate or NEBOSH general or similar qualified Health Safety Quality and Environment professional ideally with construction industry experience to manage their health and safety function.
The main function of the role is to support the site based teams with health and safety compliance across a range of projects giving advice and guidance where necessary implementing company and UK health and safety regulations and legislation. You will also coordinate all Health and safety across those sites working closely with the clients, site and project managers.
The role will predominantly be office based supporting 3 advisors, developing policies and procedures with a dynamic and innovative approach to health and safety. There will also be travel to European countries on a fortnightly basis. You will ideally have some form of experience developing / implementing or maintaining ISO accredited management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and other awards, licenses and accreditations however this is not essential.
Candidates who have been through ROSPA (or similar) award processes would also be strongly considered.
Experience of Health and Safety delivery across construction projects would be ideal and successful candidates will ideally hold some form of recognised health and safety qualification at NEBOSH general certificate level or raw degree qualified graduates in occupational health and safety looking for that first big step into Health and safety.
The role offers an excellent base salary up to £42,000+ car with standard benefits including contributory pension.
