Working hours are 37.5 – 40 per week, Monday – Friday and you will be paid £26,000 – £28,080 per year.

You’ll be responsible for providing a professional cleaning service across large sites, maximising the performance of the cleaning team and ensuring service is operated safely, hygienically, to contractual specifications and meeting the client’s expectations. Inclusive of the building environment, building fabric, machinery, and equipment.

You’ll also support with recruiting and training your cleaning team, planning their rotas and work patterns, and completing their timesheets so that they get paid correctly.

This is a hands-on role that includes leading a team of Cleaning & Hygiene Supervisors and Operatives, ensuring schedules are produced, standards are adhered to, checks and inspections are completed, employee issues are dealt with appropriately, colleagues are trained, and the site is compliant. You will also participate in cleaning activities as and when required.

To be successful in this role you’ll have previous experience in leading or supervising a cleaning team with abilities in people management and HR processes, ideally in a cleaning environment – distribution, warehouse or other commercial environment.
