Salary: £30,000 – £31,200 per year
Our client is a long established company (well over twenty years) delivering a wide range of hard and soft services nationally through its branch network of strategically located offices. The services they offer include cleaning, manned guarding, maintenance and janitorial/washroom services.
We are currently looking for a Contract Manager to manage circa 50 contracts. The role reports into the Branch Manager and has Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives as reportees. The portfolio includes sites such as public houses, offices and business parks. The portfolio is likely to grow with further business coming on-board from existing clients. Candidates for this role will ideally be based in the Stevenage area as this is a good central point for a region that heads north into East Anglia and borders North London. There is also a large proliferation of work in Herts, Beds and Bucks.
With budgetary control the role will involve client liaison (depending on the client it could be weekly, monthly, bi-monthly etc), the implementation, monitoring of quality and the control of cleaning operations and staff management.
Candidates should also have experience in cleaning and have strong management (building a strong team below them), team building and communication skills. Ideally with an operational knowledge of the area. This is a permanent Monday to Friday role but may require some weekend working.
Basic salary £30,000 – £31,200(poss more for an exceptional candidate), vehicle, fuel card etc
