Salary: £31,200 – £33,600 per year
This well-established local organisation are looking for an experienced part time Payroll Officer to join their team. You will be required to work 25-30 hours per week and will be the main point of contact within payroll.
Officer – About The Role
In this role you will working alongside the finance team and be fully responsible for the running of 2 monthly payrolls. This role will be offered on a hybrid working scheme with the flexibility to choose your working hours. Your key responsibilities include:
* Running and processing 2 monthly payrolls for over 900 employees across multiple sites.
* Manage and produce all payroll documentation including payslips, P45s and P60s.
* Reconciliation of payroll including SMP, SSP, SPP, Childcare Vouchers, pensions and any other details.
* Answer all payroll queries after payroll has been processed.
* Manage and arrange Pension contribution payments as well as check all minimum wage uplifts.
* Manage the Direct earnings attachment, referral programme and ad hoc payments.
* Any ad hoc payroll reporting.
The successful Payroll Officer will have:
* Previous experience in a similar position.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a payroll position.
* Multi-site payroll experience is desirable.
