Salary: £31,200 – £33,600 per year
There’s a great payroll team here missing a member and if you have the experience they would love you to join them!
You would be a key member in a team that handles a large (very!) group payroll – so there’s always something to do and a deadline to meet!
You will be working on 4 different payrolls – 3 weekly and 1 monthly.
And there will be the opportunity to progress to Senior Payroll Officer in time.

Day to Day you will:
- Third party payments
- PAYE
- Weekly and monthly costings for the Accounts department
- Monthly reports such as employee movements and starters and leavers
- Inputting new starters & leavers on to the payroll system
- Timesheet input for both weekly and monthly payrolls
- Reconciliation of payrolls
- Yearly salary review process
- Processing sickness payments
- Maternity & paternity leave payments
- Costing memo’s to be sent out monthly
- Wage reconciliations for both weekly and monthly payroll for the Accounts department
- Commissions, bonuses and expenses for both weekly and monthly payroll
- Offer letters and contracts to be checked for sites as and when required
- Processing of four weekly overtime
- Housekeeping of payroll system and variation to contracts for employees
- Keeping Standard Operating Procedures up to date
You will be using the I-Trent payroll system – but training can be given
