Technical Pre-Sales Consultant

We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant is responsible for working with customers to help steer and define their requirements with the output being used to produce high level designs, technical solutions, and proposals in response to sales opportunities and requirements from customers.

Working alongside with some of the most amazing customer base, from utilities, Government agencies and top financial businesses to technology start-ups, education trusts and creative agencies.It’s a fantastic role for someone who has that client facing experience but who also thrives off identifying solutions to suit customer’s needs.

The role is Home based, with occasional travel to office locations, customer offices and out of hours work will be required to drive sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

* Assessing customer requirements to establish a solution/design which addresses customer needs and delivers them value

* Attending customer meetings with sales to assist in technically qualifying opportunities and presenting the service they can offer

* Presenting and reviewing the solution in detail with customers in order to justify the basis and case for the design and commercials

* Owning the end to end solution to ensure it is complete and robust

* Work collaboratively with other technical and non-technical stakeholders to pull together complex solutions ensuring they are robust and taking the solution lead where required to ensure a seamless design

* Assist and where required be the solution lead in the production of responses to tenders, proposals and tender responses including design, pricing, and supplier engagement

* Use agreed cost and pricing models to ensure accurate commercials are presented to clients

* Creating the technical design and solution description documentation

* Contributing to product development activities such as new technical services and defining costs of new offerings

Key Skills:

* Should have solution design experience of the following technologies:

* Jamf Pro, Connect & Protect

* Jamf School / MIS programmes

* iOS, MacOS and TVOS operating systems

* Apple Business Manager / DEP

* Apple hardware range eg Macbook, iMACs, iPhones, iPads, Mac Mini

* Endpoint Protection Products and features relevant to Mac and Windows environments

* Identity solutions Azure AD, OKTA

* Other MDM/MAM Solutions preferably Microsoft Intune relevant to iOS environments

* Microsoft Autopilot and Whiteglove

* Data Loss Protection Solutions in a Mac and Windows environment

* NAS solutions, Synology, QNAP

* Microsoft Server

* Microsoft Cloud Services: Microsoft 365, Azure

* Back-up, replication, disaster recovery and availability solutions eg Veaam / Acronis

* Authentication and Identity Management services eg AD / Azure AD /OKTA / 2FA /MFA

* Good general understanding of Networking and Security Solutions for Tier 1 vendors

* Minimum 3 years experience (5 years preferred) in developing technical services propositions for clients

* Ability to work under pressure and priorities accordingly
