ERP Project Manager with Retail – Move to Dynamics Ax

ERP Project Manager with Retail and Consultancy experience for this leading Microsoft Dynamics AX global partner with offices in more than 20 countries, over 1000 employees worldwide and one of the best track records in the Dynamics AX arena. This is an opportunity to move to MS Dynamics AX with one of the leading Partners. Flexible home working with visits to client sites and head office – to £55k plus bonus of up to £9k, car allowance, pension, health care and 5 weeks holiday.

This remarkably successful consulting firm have a long history of working with Microsoft Dynamics AX and for the past 10 years their software division has developed an extensive library of customised Dynamics AX modules and industry specific solutions. Having worked solely with Microsoft Business Solutions for 15 years, they are experts and regarded as global leaders in the field.

The role of Project Manager will involve managing implementation projects of Dynamics AX ERP systems for medium to large clients according to scope and contract, and ensuring on time and on budget delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the project contract and scope, performing scope engagements, the financial success of projects, scheduling and managing the ERP project team and internal and external status reports. Please note that it is essential that you have gained client facing ERP and Retail Project Management experience within a software house, software consultancy or software vendor – they are not looking for Project Managers from end user sites.

Candidate profile as follows:

*A Project Management background with a reseller, software house or consulting firm is essential (not from an end user site)
*A skilled ERP Project Manager (from a consultancy, vendor or reseller) with leading ERP solutions experience such as Dynamics NAV, Dynamics AX, Epicor, Infor, Exact, Aptean, Unit 4, SAP Business One, JDE, NetSuite, IBS, Greentree, Lawson, Plex, IFS, Batchmaster, Sage 1000, Syspro, Oracle or similar
*Strong knowledge of the Retail sector
*Previous background as an ERP Implementation Consultant
*Ability to conduct project meetings, to delegate, to manage and motivate team members and negotiate contracts
*Ability to carry our risk analysis and project scoping
*A dynamic driver and a team player who is result and quality oriented
*First class communication skills
