Support Worker Trainee

Salary: £26,000 per year

TRAINEE SUPPORT WORKER FRIENDLY HOUSE IN SALTDEAN, BRIGHTON

£300 probation bonus and £300 training bonus on commencement.

Salary: £26,000per yeartrainee level or £10 care or any certificate or £10.25 for a level 2 certificate or NVQ’s and above.

• Day or Night shifts available – what ever you prefer.
• 4 residents each in 5 locations on individual sites located around Saltdean – you will be put in closest to you.
• Permanent 20 – 48 hour part time and full time hour contracts with overtime potential available
• Interviews currently being held online Microsoft Teams with immediate decisions
• Driving license great but really not essential

Are you wondering what a typical day looks like as a Trainee Support Worker?

Every day is different, never a boring day. Yes, there are some things that come up every day like daily support, personal care, medication, however this is not the bigger picture.

This house is superbly managed really focusing on activities both leisure, social and volunteering in the community. Some areas of a care plan could include cooking like making gingerbread men, having a local walk or bike ride, going for car ride, going for a coffee and trip to the cinema. You will build a relationship with your client and work around their care plan on how best to support them.

Hours: Day 7.15am – 2.45pm and/or 2.15pm – 9.45pm (Flexible) 

Nights: 9.30pm – 7.30am (Monday – Thursday or Wednesday – Saturday or flexible) 

Don’t worry about qualifications or previous experience:

No worries you are joining a wonderful team happy to help you settle in. The people person manager will get you through the initial training and then once you are settled in can talk about the specialist training you can go on to.
