Warehouse & FLT Supervisor, Salary C £34,800, days, pension

Our client is a hugely successful company who, due to continued success, are looking to recruit a Warehouse and Forklift Supervisor for their busy operation.

The Warehouse Supervisor will be reporting to the Logistics Manager and will be responsible for;

* Managing the warehouse forklift team and the onsite warehouse to ensure stock is stored safely and correctly and orders are delivered on time

* Managing a FLT warehouse team of Fork Truck Drivers to ensure processes are followed and all targets are achieved

* Planning and coordinating warehouse manning to support daily workload

* Tracking and controlling all forklift overtime, holiday & sickness

* Co-ordinating the training of all Warehouse Fork Lift Operators in all processes and maintaining a FLT training matrix as well as monitoring any service issues

* Locating stock to maximise the capacity within the warehouse

* Ensuring all warehouse physical stock is accurate

* Ensuring stock is delivered on time and in full

* Maintaining warehouse processes to control all stock from arrival into the warehouse right through to shipment to all customers

* Maintaining processes to ensure that all Health & Safety guidelines are followed

* Participating in all company stocktakes

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor with the following skills;

* Experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Team Leader in a fast moving environment

* Excellent people management skills

* Self-motivated with a positive attitude

* Good organisational skills

* Forklift licence desirable
