Warehouse Supervisor / Team Controller (Nights)

Our client is looking to recruit for experienced Supervisor’s to supervise high volume staff operations within their large hubs in the Hinckley area, duties will involve:

* To assist the Operations Managers in the achievement of Objectives terms of costs and productivity through effective management of employees, service levels, health and safety and company operating standards.
* To manage loading / unloading to clear floor in line with operational instructions
* To manage operational procedures
* To resolve immediate operational problems, including blockages or raise to attention of Operations manager if necessary
* To maintain quality procedures
* Planning of employee resource levels and 3rd party resources to achieve operational targets
* To complete daily operational reports
* To achieve set KPI’s in terms of productivity, absence, Health and Safety, costs to plan and accuracy
* To hold regular briefing meetings with employees to communicate relevant information
* To manage staffing levels in terms of areas worked by staff, FLT manning and breaks taken
* To liaise with Line Haul, Depots and Central Customer Service sin order to resolve customer services
* Improve misroutes performance through management of employees
* Ensure premium service levels are maintained
* To implement and monitor the effectiveness of the Health and Safety policy, ensuring and maintaining a safe working environment
* To implement the Security Policy through processing damaged parcels in line with procedure, completing pilfering reports and carrying out investigation
* Proactively manage company security policy through management, monitoring and liaising with Security Officers / Regional Security Managers
* To effectively manage and motivate employees in designated area
* To assist in recruitment of employees, through interviewing and induction training
* To manage staffing levels in terms of areas of worked by staff, FLT manning and breaks taken

Salary: £33,600 + £2,000 bonus

Hours of work 4-6pm start until finish 3-6am (5 set nights)

Previous experience at a similar level is essential.
