Site Manager

Salary: £24 – £30 per hour

Site Manager opportunity with an east midlands based main contractor.

The company

Our client is a main contractor operating throughout the Nottinghamshire,

Leicestershire and Derbyshire regions from their offices in the east

midlands. The regional business has a turnover in excess of £50 Million and

enjoys a large degree of repeat business from the client base. They are

particularly successful in the sectors of education, healthcare and local

authorities and primarily undertake projects valued at £2 Million to £10

Million. Their workload includes new build and refurbishment under both

Design & Build and Traditional contracts.

The role

They are looking for an experienced Site Manager to run a £5 Million, Design

& Build project in the east midlands. The role will be as lead Site Manager

for the project and reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager. The Site

Manager will be responsible for all aspects of running the site including

health & safety, managing trades and sub-contractors, ensuring works proceed

in accordance with the programme and liaising with the client throughout.

Experience of running projects of a similar size and nature is essential; a

trade background or an HNC or above in a construction related discipline

would also be preferred.
