Production Assistant
Lutterworth (Near Magna Park)
Day Shift (830am – 5pm)
£18K p/year (£26,000 per yearour)
One of our major clients who produce a range of bespoke electronics has an urgent need for a new production assistant to work with their manufacturing site in Lutterworth.
This is a permanent job from day one and will involve you performing the following duties:
• Counting stock in various locations around the production area to ensure all stock held on site is accurate.
• Allocating a product codes or part number to all stock.
• Handling small, delicate items.
• Ensuring the correct orders is being produced on a daily basis.
• Working with “bill of materials” and costing jobs up.
• Following technical drawings and working with imperial and metric measurments.
• Updating the computer system with details of stock movements and highlighting / investigating any discrepanies.
This is a great role for someone who has worked within manufacturing before and wants to get involved within the production side of things.
Whilst this is going to be a very popular role, we do ask that you have the following skills and experience in order to be considered:
• Strong work ethic and the ability to retain training.
• Ability to work with technical drawings and precision measurements.
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills.
• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Some experience of SAP.
