Land Surveyor

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

Due to the company’s continued ambitious growth plans and a significant forward order workload of contracts, our client wishes to appoint an experienced Land Surveyor who will be responsible for leading and managing all surveying aspects of complex projects. The position will provide support to the engineering, project and site management teams.

The Role

• Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted on site
• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, lines, and other characteristics of terrain to produce accurate volumetric information
• Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
• Take measurements and survey data to determine positions and elevations

• Processing surveys and earthworks for ground modelling
• Carry out the surveys and as-builts using Total Station and GNSS Net Rovers
• Supporting various teams and managers in the delivery of earthworks projects
• Literacy with AutoCAD 3D, BIM Modelling and N4CE software
