Bookkeeper

This is a super opportunity for an AAT qualified bookkeeper to join a busy team with in a well established firm of accountants.

The role will include completing a comprehensive bookkeeping service for a portfolio of clients that will include VAT returns. The successful candidate will be proficient at working to Trial Balance, and possibly preparing 1st draft of accounts.

You will be responsible for:

• Production, analysis and presentation of monthly management accounts
• Profit and Loss and & Balance sheets including forecasting
• Monitoring of budgets
• Managing year end procedures
• Reporting monthly variances of both income and expenditure
• Internal and external audits and archiving information
• VAT

The successful applicant will be AAT qualified with demonstrable working experience; they will also be IT literate with Excel and Sage accounts.
