Salary: £28,800 – £31,200 per year
EXPERIENCED PLANT FITTER / MULTI-SKILLED MECHANICAL ENGINEER / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIRED WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING ON MOBILE PLANT EQUIPMENT
ROLE: Plant Fitter / Mechanical Engineer – Mobile Plant Equipment
SALARY: £28,800 – £31,200 plus Van, Pension, Mobile
LOCATION: You will be considered from the following area: Okehampton, Bideford, Barnstaple or the surrounding.
PREVIOUS TITLES (not exhaustive): Plant Fitter, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Mobile Plant Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Plant Technician, Service Engineer – Plant Hire, Heavy Plant Technician, Multi-skilled Service Engineer, Mechanical Fitter
ROLE – Plant Fitter / Mechanical Engineer – Mobile Plant Equipment
As a Plant Fitter / Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Technician you will undertake reactive and preventative maintenance to a range of heavy static and mobile plant machinery
You will increasingly work autonomously
You will look to develop scheduled PPM, and improve the efficiency of engineering on site
You will work within site safety procedures and company policies.
EXPERIENCE – Plant Fitter / Mechanical Engineer – Mobile Plant Equipment
Experience as a Plant Fitter / Multi-skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in a heavy industry background is essential, you will have experience with hydraulics and have worked on Mobile Plant
You will ideally have some experience with 24V electrical work
You will have ideally undertaken an engineering apprenticeship and be a Qualified Mechanical Engineer / Plant Fitter – C & G/ NVQ / HNC etc. Any electrical qualifications a real plus.
