Salary: £28,800 – £33,600 per year

£24,000 – £28,000 + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + Contributory Pension

Commutable from Hull, Beverley, Brigg, Bridlington, Cottingham, Driffield, Doncaster, Hedon, Howden, Goole, Scunthorpe.

Company Information:

My client is a specialist manufacturer, supplier and installation/fit out firm who supply to industrial, commercial, and retail sectors. They are a well-established firm and have a growing order book with ambitious plans for the future.

You must have the following:

• Must have Autocad Experience

• Must have either working knowledge of AutoCAD either Industry experience working as CAD Tech, Draughtsperson, Design Engineer or from University
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Eye for detail
• Ability to work as part of a team, and individually
• Self-motivated, proactive and the ability to work to timescales
• Flexible and Innovative problem solver
• All Manufacturing and Construction Design experience will be considered including windows, doors, caravans, modular, Joinery, Curtain Walling

Role:

The CAD technician’s role will be to work as a member of a cross functional project team involved in the design, manufacture and installation of customer specified products As part of this role, the CAD technician will create CAD drawings and models that reflect the customers’ requirements on each order. Along with schematics and fabrication drawings for the manufacturing processes.

Duties

• Preparation of Elevations, Sections and Fixing Detail drawings for submission to Architects, Engineers and Clients.
• Liaise with Architects, Engineers and Cliens to ensure compliance with specification and budget.
• Operate and maintain RFI system.
• Input data to software package for the production of BOM, Cutting Lists and Worksheets for use on shop floor.
• Attend site meetings/resolve site issues relating to windows, doors and other products as the need arises.
• Prepare Operation and Maintenance files for each project.
• Liaise with internal company departments to ensure project programs are maintained.
