Aspire Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Bid Writer to prepare, manage and write all aspects of quotations for a leading company based in the North West. This role will involve ensuring a high quality of quote submission and all new work orders are actioned appropriately.

You will be responsible for supporting the bid function and the broader commercial function. This role will involve owning and managing a centralised quotation review process and there will be a strong focus on quality and timeliness of all quotations.

Working in the Bid Management team, you will have a key input into customer facing sales documents. This role involves co-ordinating responses with key senior stakeholders to ensure that customer deadlines and expectations on quality are met.

Required Experience:
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily tasks and good multi-tasking skills
• Excellent communication skills are essential, both orally and written, able to communicate at all levels both face to face, over the telephone and via e-mail/fax
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft packages
• Able to influence senior internal stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a fluctuating workload
• Good problem solving skills and able to use your own initiative
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to present self in a professional manner when dealing with the customers and clients of the business
• Ability to comply with Health and Safety legislation and company practices and procedures
• Ability to adhere to all aspects of confidentiality and Data Protection in order to comply with the law
