Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year
Design Engineer required for a mechanical & Electrical design consultancy for a range of industries including rail, etc.
Design Engineer Position Overview
To work within the design team and assist in the effective delivery of all aspects of the company’s contract portfolio. This shall include assistance in the development of Calculations, CAD drawings and writing specifications. The employee shall demonstrate a good level of personal development throughout.
Design Engineer Position Requirements
Have a knowledge of computer-aided electrical design software (i.e. AutoCAD, AutoDesk, Amtech, Dialux);
- Be able to liaise confidently with others in the design team;
- Be able to liaise confidently with clients and contractors;
- Be able to communicate well verbally, diagrammatically and in writing;
- Be able to identify customer requirements;
- Possess good presentation skills;
- Be able to demonstrate competent use of CAD and Dialux software.

Design Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary dependent on experience likely Circa £36,000 – £48,000
- £36,000 – £48,000 for a Senior Design Engineer
