Salary: £31,200 – £36,000 per year
Our client is a leading plant hire company based in Sutton. Due to growth they are looking to recruit an additional Logistics Planner to join their fast paced and dynamic team in Sutton. We are looking for candidates with experience working in a planning/scheduling/ logistics role.
The logistics team are responsible for logistics planning, controlling, and implementing processes, for example related to global fleet management, utilisation, allocation including:
* Planning & Control.
* Movement & Storage.
* General Logistics optimisation.
* Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes.
* Cargo planning, and strategies to improve depot/ logistics service centre operations.
* Analysing and projecting transportation costs.
* Coordinating customs clearances and permits.
* Planning addresses capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
