Driver Trainer / Health & Safety Supervisor

OnPoint Executive Search Ltd are looking for a Driver Trainer/Health & Safety Supervisor to work in the Grantham area for a well established and successful Transport company.

Your primary responsibilities will be to manage Driver Training which will include driver assessments, inductions and performance reviews. In addition the successful candidate will help the company implement new standards of accreditation through BRC and ISO, and monitor paperwork associated with this standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Induct drivers in line with company SOPs
Manage all Company Health & Safety documentation
Manage all driver training, driver assessments and post accident debriefs
Monitor vehicle telematics and produce reports
Introduce SAFED driving principles and manage reports to help reduce company fuel usage
Improve company fuel efficiencies through driver training and introduce remedial action.
Attend management meetings as and when required
Implement new standards governed by BRC
Complete Health & Safety Risk Assessments as and when required

The right candidate will have the following skills:

HGV Category C+E Licence
HGV Driver Training experience
Effective IT skills
Full clean driving licence
