Trainee Estimator

My client is looking for a Trainee Estimator to learn and progress within their exciting team! The Trainee Estimator will be responsible for delivering agreed business, revenue and margin objectives.
The Trainee Estimator faces the challenge of preparing tender returns and policing projects through the various stages.

Responsibilities;
*Working with the Managing Director to deliver a high quality estimating function to the business
*Preparation and presentation of quotes
*Travel to other Company locations if required
*Negotiation and value engineering during procurement
*Decisions the right candidate will have to make
– choice of systems and profiles
-choice of glass specifications
– margin and design pricing level within set parameters

Requirements;
* Competent in the understanding of specifications and drawings
*Familiar with Logic, Jopps and Schucal Software Systems
*IT Literate
*Self Motivated
*Strong Communication skills and excellent Customer Service sills
*Manage strategically important new projects
*Competent with planning and organisation skills
*Competent in analysis and problem solving
*Adaptable to change

*External experience
*Business knowledge
*Experience in estimating
*Educated to HND level
