My client, a prestigious financial services firm based in Warrington, is looking for a dynamic Software Development Manager to join their highly successful team. This brand new opening has come about due to business growth. In this role you will be accountable for managing, co-ordinating and improving resources and processes to ensure delivery of high quality software.

We are looking for a Development Manager who has proven competencies/skill-sets in leadership, critical thinking, a high level of technical acumen, problem analysis/resolution, project delivery and team building skills.

This is a critical position within the firm and you will have an unparalleled opportunity to influence and shape the development landscape moving forward.

Essential Skills:

* Microsoft development background
* A strong and detailed understanding of development standards, codes of practise and the attributes of a successful development team
* Experienced in managing and leading IT Development team with the ability to manage, support, encourage and motivate team members
* A broad and detailed knowledge of software and programming
* Project delivery
* The ability to gather and interpret information with a creative approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills able to manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities to deliver to deadlines and budget
* Articulate and assertive – you will be a good communicator and comfortable dealing with a variety of audiences
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
