Learning Designer

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Designer to join Capita, a FTSE 100 organisation.

This is a home based role with a significant amount of UK wide travel
The purpose of the role is to optimise the user learning experience through the design of impactful and effective learning solutions and to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure solutions meet the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities & Competence Levels
To conduct Training Needs Analysis through collaboration with senior stakeholders and making recommendations for the most appropriate solutions.
Design of learning solutions incorporating a multitude of learning theories and a strong blend of delivery mechanisms. Managing and monitoring an end to end design process in conjunction with other learning professionals and other subject matter experts.
Managing multiple stakeholders to understand all technical and operational considerations and challenges, ensuring adherence to policies and mitigation of risk. Ability to work within large, corporate environments on projects that span different work streams and multiple business areas
The Designer must have the ability to multi task, be organised and proactive with an aptitude to work on own with minimal guidance.
Stakeholder management and managing relationships successfully is key to the success of this role – ability to work at all level including senior stakeholders.
Excellent design skills with knowledge of different learning theories and styles is a given requirement.
Ability to produce material adopting a blended approach; including face to face, virtual learning, distance learning and other supporting solutions.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure all material is accurate both in terms of both content and grammar.
Ability to write material in the first person and to write objectives to the industry standard (using best practise at all times) and the knowledge of instructional design.

Essential Experience/Skills:

Suitable candidates must have gained experience in a relevant business environment, including demonstrable success in learning design.
