Graphic Designer for Beauty Brand

My client is a leading beauty brand known for its luxury image. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a creative Graphic Designer who has a passion for beauty to join their team to produce high quality graphics for a wide range of marketing and PR.

Purpose:

The Graphic Designer reports directly to the PR / Marketing Manager.

This role is to provide innovative creation and production of design and artwork to the highest standard.To demonstrate an exceptional understanding & capability in design and artwork, that will enable the delivery of high class graphics production. They must have an understanding & excellent knowledge of design & artwork to effectively troubleshoot and resolve design, artwork & print fulfilment challenges.

Key responsibilities/accountabilities include:

•Creative design and artwork of all marketing, promotional and press advertising literature both internal and external, working to brand guidelines, working to agreed timescales and adjusting scope according to budgets

•Design and creation of web graphics, content for eCRM and social media channels

•Managing design and artwork jobs from brief to delivery keeping within timescales

•Meeting company deadlines and managing a demanding workload
•Proactively thinking and developing new design and artwork improvements and more effective ways of working
•Communication of each stage of the design, artwork and print processes to all interested internal departments

Person Specification:
•At least 4 years industry experience
•Educated to degree level in Graphic Design or equivalent
•Expert knowledge of artwork building techniques suitable for repro/print, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail
•Good working reprographics and print knowledge gained through the industry
•Proven work experience in design for both print & web
•Some working knowledge of web CMS systems
•Sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite packages and MS applications essential
•Working knowledge of Mac OSX for maintenance/admin/housekeeping
•Able to work as part of a lively team or as an individual
•A passion for the beauty industry
