Salary: £40,800 – £43,560 per year
3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer
A leading organisation with a wide ranging portfolio of interests is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join them and undertake a key role within the business.
The Infrastructure Engineer will be required to work to a service delivery framework as well as managing technical projects as required.
The key responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer will include:
- Work on the management of server infrastructure within the organisation to include monitoring and management of systems.
- To work on infrastructure and technical projects from design through to implementation.
- Asses the benefit of potential new technologies, products, methods and techniques.
- Assist users experiencing difficulties in using the information systems.
The successful Infrastructure Engineer will be required to have the following skills or experience:
- of supporting systems with 1000 + users.
- Proven record of providing ICT support of hardware, software and networked environments.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 (advanced)
- Windows 7 Desktop (advanced)
- Microsoft Active Directory Services (advanced)
- Microsoft Exchange (advanced)
- NetAPP
- SMS or SCCM
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of back up technologies.
